Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-80 years; 2. Patients diagnosed with liver cirrhosis and esophageal and gastric varices through medical history inquiry, endoscopic examination, liver color Doppler ultrasound, and abdominal vascular imaging; 3. Patients with esophageal and gastric varices who have undergone endoscopic ultrasound-guided treatment (in accordance with primary or secondary prevention as per the Baveno VI consensus); 4. The study has been approved by the hospital's ethics committee.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Age 80 years; 2. Patients without esophageal/gastric varices; 3. Patients with severe comorbidities (e.g., malignancy, hepatorenal syndrome, hepatic encephalopathy, other chronic systemic diseases); 4. Severe coagulation disorders or high bleeding risk (platelet count 2); 5. Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 6. Sleep apnea, intolerance to endotracheal intubation, and patients classified as ASA IV or V according to the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification, or those with a history of severe iodine allergy; 7. Patients with poor compliance; 8. Esophageal stricture; 9. Splenic vein/portal vein thrombosis.
