Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Children aged 4–18 years, living in an urban area for >=2 years; 2.Meeting the diagnostic criteria for childhood obesity; 3.The primary caregiver (parent) is able to communicate normally with the research staff; 4.Informed consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Children with severe cognitive, language, or developmental disorders; 2.Definite diagnosis of secondary obesity; 3.Participation in a systematic weight management program within the past 3 months.
