Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged >=18 years old who require invasive arterial blood pressure monitoring, including critically ill patients or those undergoing non-cardiac surgery; 2. Positive modified Allen's test (good ulnar artery collateral circulation); 3. No infection, trauma or scar at the puncture site; 4. Normal coagulation function (INR = 80×10^9/L); 5. Patients or their families have signed the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Infection, burn or vascular malformation at the puncture site; 2. Severe coagulation dysfunction or ongoing anticoagulant therapy (INR > 3.0); 3. Peripheral vascular diseases (such as vasculitis, severe atherosclerosis); 4. History of failed puncture at the anatomical snuffbox or radial artery.
Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Hemodynamic parameters: 5 minutes after puncture (before anesthesia), 30 minutes after puncture (after anesthesia), and 1 hour after puncture, systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), mean arterial pressure (MAP) were analyzed for consistency differences with non-invasive cuff blood pressure (at the same time point);; | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Puncture success rate;Puncture operation time (from local anesthesia to successful catheterization);;Complications: incidence of hematoma, vasospasm, thrombosis, and pseudoaneurysm at 24?hours and 72?hours postoperatively, as well as vascular patency assessed by postoperative ultrasound reexamination.;Pain severity was evaluated using NRS score (0-10 points) at 3 and 24 hours postoperatively;Record postoperative compression time;Evaluating wrist discomfort and functional impact using a simple questionnaire; | — |
