Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged over 18 years, with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I to III, scheduled for elective laparoscopic surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with psychiatric disorders (including those with pre-existing delirium) or those taking antipsychotic medications. 2. Patients with pre-existing cognitive impairment as assessed by the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE). 3. Patients with severe impairment of the auditory, visual, or language systems. 4. Patients with confirmed or suspected history of abuse or long-term use of narcotic sedatives and analgesics. 5. Patients with infection, allergy, or other contraindications at the site of EEG electrode placement (forehead), making electrode attachment unsuitable. 6. Patients with a history of general anesthesia surgery within the three months prior to the procedure. 7. Patients concurrently participating in other clinical studies.
