Perioperative Neurocognitive Disorder

Interventions

Experimental group :Starting from the day before surgery, take one sustained-release metformin tablet (500mg) after dinner for four consecutive days
Control group :Starting from the day before surgery, take one Calcium Gluconate Tablet (500mg) after dinner for four consecutive days

60 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Elderly patients undergoing orthopedic surgery; 2. Age:60-75 years old; 3. American society of Anesthesiologists Class ASA ?.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. A Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) score exceeding 8 during hospitalization; 2. The patient has dementia, a history of neurological or psychiatric disorders, or is currently taking sedatives or antidepressants; Chronic kidney disease, chronic liver disease, diabetes, congestive heart failure, and atherosclerosis patients; 3. Alcohol poisoning, alcoholic patients; 4. Patients allergic to metformin and those with uncorrected deficiencies of vitamin B12 or folic acid.
