Experimental Group 1:A 4Fr, 10 cm mini-midline catheter with an open tip was used, employing ultrasound guidance combined with the Seldinger technique, without the need for establishing maximal steril
Experimental Group 2:A 4Fr, 30 cm silicone midline catheter with a three-way valve was used, employing ultrasound guidance combined with the modified Seldinger technique, and establishing maximal ster
Control group:A 24-gauge, 1.9 cm short peripheral intravenous catheter was used, employing the blind puncture technique.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >=18 years; 2.Expected duration of parenteral nutrition support < 14 days; 3.All infused nutritional solutions use industrial triple-chamber bags with osmolarity < 900 mOsmol/L; 4.Patient is conscious and able to communicate normally.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.History of radiation therapy, thrombosis, or trauma at the implantation site; 2.Coagulation disorders
