Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age over 18 years old; 2. Normal carotid artery or with varying degrees of carotid atherosclerosis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe cerebrovascular diseases: Patients with severe cerebrovascular diseases, those who are uncooperative or unable to tolerate the examination; 2. Influence of wound dressings after neck surgery: The situation where neck artery ultrasound is affected by wound dressings after neck surgery; 3. Short and thick neck: The condition where the neck is short and thick, preventing the probe from being placed vertically.
