Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >=18 years; 2. Underwent cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass at one of the four participating cardiac centers; 3. Had at least one postoperative record of all variables required to calculate the SOFA score; 4. Had complete clinical data allowing calculation of both SOFA-1 and SOFA-2 scores.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Died within 24 hours after surgery; 2. Did not complete at least one postoperative SOFA score assessment due to missing key variables required for SOFA score calculation, such as GCS, vasoactive drug dose, platelet count, creatinine, bilirubin, PaO2/FiO2, etc.; 3. Had pre-existing severe organ dysfunction before surgery, such as end-stage liver disease, end-stage renal disease, long-term mechanical ventilation, etc.; 4. Had duplicate baseline assessment data or logical errors affecting baseline assessment.
