Interventions

Concentric contraction training group (CCT):Concentric contraction of the knee joint
Eccentric contraction training group (ECT):Perform eccentric contractions of the knee joint at 60°/s using an isokinetic muscle strength tester.
Isometric contraction training group (ICT):Isometric contraction of the knee joint
Control group (CON):Health education lectures that are unrelated to exercise but still require time investment

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 65 years, residing in the community. 2. Meeting the characteristics of sedentary lifestyle and insufficient physical activity: Has not engaged in systematic and regular exercise training (such as resistance training, Tai Chi, square dancing, etc.) within the past 3 months; assessment shows that the recommended level of 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity per week has not been met; and the average daily sedentary time is relatively long (e.g >= 6 hours). 3. Possesses independent walking ability and can complete daily walking without assistive devices. 4. Has basically normal cognitive function (MMSE >= 26 points), possesses basic communication and comprehension abilities, and is able to sign an informed consent form. 5. Agrees to wear the designated wearable device and can cooperate under supervision to complete resistance training with different muscle contraction patterns and all follow-up tests.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals who have experienced a fall-related fracture within the past year, or who are assessed as having an extremely high risk of falling. 2. Individuals with severe, uncontrolled cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, or metabolic diseases (e.g., uncontrolled hypertension, recent cardiovascular events, severe COPD, Parkinson's disease, etc.) that would affect study safety. 3. Individuals with acute bone or joint injuries, or severe osteoarthritis, pain, or movement disorders that significantly affect lower limb strength (standing, squatting, sitting-standing) and testing. 4. Individuals who have been taking or have changed the dosage of medications that may significantly affect cognitive or motor function within the past 3 months. 5. Individuals deemed by the investigator to have poor compliance, or who are unsuitable for participation in this study for other health reasons.
