Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who were diagnosed with benign gallbladder diseases requiring cholecystectomy, such as mild cholecystolithiasis, gallbladder polyps, and chronic cholecystitis. 2. Patients with complete clinical data. 3. The diaphragmatic suspension technique was used intraoperatively in all patients to expose Calot’s triangle. 4. Age range: 18-80 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with concomitant common bile duct stones requiring simultaneous treatment. 2. Patients with imaging findings suggestive of severe gallbladder atrophy or extensive pericholecystic inflammatory exudation, as well as those in the acute phase of moderate to severe cholecystitis. 3. Patients with suspected gallbladder malignancy, including gallbladder tumors. 4. Pregnant patients or patients in poor general condition who were unable to tolerate laparoscopic surgery. 5. Other cases in which the diaphragmatic suspension technique was not used for intraoperative exposure.
