Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged >18 years scheduled for elective general surgery under general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation who require routine invasive arterial blood pressure monitoring.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Hypertension, cardiac disease, advanced peripheral perfusion dysfunction, peripheral arterial disease, or unilateral upper limb absence.
