18 Years to 55 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Chinese adults aged between 18 and 55 years; 2. Obesity: based on the Asia cut-off point, BMI >= 25.0 kg/m^2; 3. No current or chronic use of alcohol or tobacco; 4. Body weight has been stable for the past 3 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. known history of cardiovascular or metabolic-related disease; 2. current participation in other trials; 3. irritable bowel syndrome or intolerance to polyols (sugar alcohols); 4. diseases (arthritis) or injuries that affect the ability to exercise.
