Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: From January 2024 to December 2024, percutaneous kyphoplasty was performed at XXX Hospital for patients aged 65-80 years, with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification of II-III. They suffered from acute osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (within one week), involving a single segment (T11-L4).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous history of spinal surgery or spinal deformity; 2. Complicated with other traumas or fractures; 3. Impaired function of important organs; 4. Metabolic bone diseases, metastasis, infection; 5. Mental disorders or neurological disorders; 6. Allergy to local anesthetics; 7. Language or learning disorders making it difficult to complete the questionnaire; 8. Severe bradycardia.
