Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >= 18 years; 2.American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification I to III; 3.Scheduled for elective urological surgery requiring routine postoperative indwelling urinary catheterization; 4.Patients and their families fully understood the study protocol, voluntarily signed informed consent, and were able to cooperate with postoperative follow-up and completion of all scoring assessments.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Bladder dysfunction: including bladder outlet obstruction confirmed by ultrasound or urodynamics, overactive bladder (voiding frequency >8 times/24h or >3 times/night), or neurogenic bladder dysfunction (e.g., due to spinal cord injury, diabetic neuropathy, etc.); 2.Presence of severe cognitive impairment (e.g., various types of dementia), history of psychiatric disorders (e.g., depression, anxiety disorder, schizophrenia), or communication disorders that prevented cooperation with postoperative assessment; 3.Concomitant severe sensory impairment (e.g., blindness, deafness) or disturbance of consciousness (e.g., coma); 4.History of chronic pain or history of substance abuse (including opioids, etc.).
