Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with early esophageal cancer who develop a mucosal defect involving >=3/4 or the entire circumference after endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1:Failure of vital organs, including the heart, liver, and kidneys; 2:Patients who have used systemic glucocorticoids (e.g., prednisone, methylprednisolone, etc.) continuously for more than 1 week within 4 weeks before ESD; 3:Poorly controlled diabetes mellitus: glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) >= 7.0%;; 4:Concomitant other malignancy; 5:Patients with pre-existing esophageal stricture before ESD.
