Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: A retrospective review was conducted on the electronic medical record system of our hospital, including cases that met all of the following three criteria: 1. Preterm infants admitted to the neonatal center of our hospital between January 1, 2019, and December 31, 2022, with a postnatal age of <3 days and a gestational age of <32 weeks; 2. Preterm infants who underwent NBNA scoring and MRI plain scan at the corrected gestational age of full term; 3. Preterm infants who completed the Gesell Developmental Assessment at the corrected gestational age of 6 months in the Child Health Department of our hospital.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Retrospectively reviewing the medical records, cases meeting any one or more of the following criteria were excluded: 1.Combined with genetic defects or inherited metabolic diseases (such as congenital thyroid function reduction, phenylketonuria, etc.); 2. Combined with severe brain injury conditions such as cranial cerebral developmental malformation, intraventricular hemorrhage grade III-IV, or purulent meningitis; 3. Incomplete hospitalization and follow-up treatment data, lacking key indicators and outcome data such as MRI examination and Gesell assessment at 6 months of age.
