Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria for stroke specified in Diagnostic Criteria for Various Major Cerebrovascular Diseases in China (2019); 2. First - ever unilateral onset of the disease; 3. Be in the recovery stage of the condition and be able to cooperate with the researchers; 4. Upper limb motor function at Brunnstrom Stage ?–?; 5. Have relatively stable vital signs and good cardiopulmonary function; 6. Free from visual, auditory, psychological or cognitive impairments; 7. Patients and their family members have signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Obvious shoulder pain with significant limitation of passive range of motion of each joint of the upper limb; 2. Suffering from any one of the following conditions: respiratory system diseases, cardiopulmonary dysfunction, hepatorenal dysfunction, hematological system diseases, or subarachnoid hemorrhage; 3. Disease course > 6 months; 4. Excessively high muscle tone; 5. Unable to complete the procedures of this study.
