Group A:The UG-NMES group received ultrasound-guided neuromuscular electrical stimulation
Group B1:Receive traditional neuromuscular electrical stimulation at 40mA
Group B2:Receive traditional neuromuscular electrical stimulation at 50mA

18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged 18–80 years; 2.Having been admitted to the ICU for more than 48 hours; 3.Meet the diagnostic criteria of ICU-AW (Medical Research Council (MRC) muscle strength score < 48 points, and excluding muscle weakness caused by other reasons); 4.The patient or the family member signs the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe heart diseases (such as severe arrhythmia, decompensated heart failure); 2. Implantation of a cardiac pacemaker or defibrillator; 3. Skin damage, infection or allergy, making it impossible to place the electrode patches; 4. Pregnant or lactating women; 5. Expected survival period > 3 months; 6. Comatose patients
