Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age above 18 years old; 2. Patients with definite diagnosis of cirrhosis and portal hypertension, who plan to receive TIPS surgery; 3. Basic communication skills and informed consent; 4. Cooperate and complete the intervention and follow-up during the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe cognitive impairment, psychiatric illness, or communication impairment; 2. Complicated with severe systemic diseases such as end-stage cardiopulmonary insufficiency and renal failure; 3. Expected inability to complete follow-up (e.g., living in remote areas, no stable contact information, etc.).
