Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. University students Aged 18–26; 2. Normal hearing; 3. Normal vision or corrected normal vision; 4. Passed two rounds of screening, with results meeting the criteria in both rounds. First round: Complete the online Centre for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale (CES-D) and Beck Depression Inventory – II (BDI-II) questionnaires; Second round: Complete the CES-D and BDI-II questionnaires again two weeks later, with both assessments meeting the criteria of "CES-D score >= 16" and "BDI-II score >= 14"; 5. Invite eligible candidates for a face-to-face interview assessed with the 24-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD-24), with a HAMD-24 score ranging from 8 to 20;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) of the United States, being diagnosed with major depressive disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or other mental disorders; 2. There is an immediate suicidal tendency that threatens life; 3. Within the past year, any form of depression-related intervention (such as medication, psychotherapy, etc.) has been received.
