Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age > 18 years, generally good health, and good oral hygiene; 2. Partial edentulism, with missing sites restored using dental implants; 3. Intraoperative use of a dental implant robot for osteotomy preparation and implant placement; 4. No mobility of remaining teeth, allowing the fixation of a tooth-supported positioning marker; 5. Mouth opening of at least 30 mm.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy or breastfeeding; 2. Uncontrolled systemic diseases; 3. History of head and neck radiotherapy within the past 5 years; 4. History of heavy smoking (=20 cigarettes/day), alcohol abuse, or drug abuse; 5. Poor oral hygiene or uncontrolled periodontitis; 6. Recent history of bisphosphonate or hormone therapy; 7. Patients who underwent maxillary sinus floor elevation; 8. Previous bone augmentation surgery at the implant site.
