Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Postmenopausal female patients (age >= 50 years); 2. Diagnosed with traumatic cervical, thoracic, or lumbar spinal cord injury (ASIA Impairment Scale grade A–D) and having clear indications for surgical decompression.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of other diseases that may affect bone metabolism or bone mass, such as hyperparathyroidism, osteomalacia, rheumatoid arthritis, etc. 2. Long-term use (continuous use for more than 3 months within 6 months prior to enrollment) of medications that may significantly affect bone metabolism or systemic inflammatory status, such as glucocorticoids, immunosuppressants, bisphosphonates, teriparatide, etc. 3. Comorbidities including malignant tumors, active infections, hematological diseases, or severe hepatic or renal insufficiency; 4. History of spinal surgery or pre-existing neurological dysfunction prior to the injury.
