Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Histologically confirmed nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) by biopsy of nasopharyngeal mass. 2. Clinical stage T4 according to the 8th edition of the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) staging system, with concurrent cranial nerve involvement. 3. Planned to receive comprehensive treatment comprising immunotherapy combined with chemotherapy and radiotherapy. 4. Ability to comply with the prescribed examinations and willingness to undergo regular follow-up assessments.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of previous radiotherapy to the head and neck region. 2. Synchronous primary malignancy at other anatomical sites at the time of initial diagnosis. 3. Pre-existing diabetes mellitus, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, or other neurological disorders that may affect cranial nerve function. 4. History of neck trauma or surgical procedures resulting in cranial nerve damage.
