18 Years to 80 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18–80 years; 2. Diagnosed with prolonged disorders of consciousness (pDoC; disease duration >=28 days), including vegetative state/unresponsive wakefulness syndrome (VS/UWS) or minimally conscious state (MCS), as determined by the Coma Recovery Scale–Revised (CRS-R); 3. In a relatively stable condition, with controllable vital signs. 4. Written informed consent signed by the subject’s legally authorized representative.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Active epilepsy or uncontrolled seizures within the past month; 2. Confirmed photosensitive epilepsy or use of phototoxic/photosensitizing medications; 3. Severe scalp wounds or infection, or inability to attach the device properly; 4. Uncontrolled intracranial pressure or severe cardiopulmonary instability; 5. Current participation in other randomized trials of arousal-promoting interventions.
