Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Paraffin-embedded tissue specimens were anonymized archival samples from the Department of Pathology, Yuebei People’s Hospital, and diagnoses were consistent with the criteria for glioma or peritumoral normal brain tissue in the WHO Classification of Tumors of the Central Nervous System (2021); 2. Paraffin blocks were well-preserved without mold or damage, and were suitable for immunohistochemical assays and protein expression analysis; 3. Pathological grade and molecular subtype were clearly defined, covering WHO grades ?–?, IDH-mutant/wild-type, and 1p/19q codeleted/non-codeleted statuses; 4. Tissues were pathologically reviewed, and control tissues were confirmed as peritumoral normal brain tissue without tumor cell infiltration.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who received preoperative antitumor therapies including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or immunotherapy, which may affect the expression levels of target proteins; 2.Patients with other central nervous system tumors, autoimmune diseases, severe hepatic or renal insufficiency, or other conditions that may interfere with the expression of immune microenvironment–related indicators; 3. Samples with poor staining quality, excessive nonspecific staining, or unquantifiable results that cannot be included in statistical analysis.
