Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years old 2. Gender: Not limited 3. Visited the Health Management Department of Zengcheng Hospital, Southern Medical University, from January 2022 to December 2024, and have been lost to follow-up for more than 1 year. Complete baseline data: General clinical data complete: gender, age, blood pressure (SBP, DBP), BMI. Complete laboratory test results: four blood lipid items (TG, TC, HDL-C, LDL-C); three kidney function items (UA, CR, BUN); three liver function items (ALT, AST, ALB); fasting blood glucose; three thyroid function items (TF3, TF4, TSH); complete blood count (MONO, PLT, NE, LYM). Complete imaging examination results: carotid ultrasound.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Carotid artery stenosis: Carotid artery stenosis = 50%; 2.Population with renal insufficiency (CKD3 stage) or above: eGFR<30ml/min/1.73m ² (CKD-EPI formula); 3.Liver dysfunction: AST or ALT levels exceeding 5 times; 4.Thyroid dysfunction or history of thyroid surgery or treatment. 5.According to the recommended diagnostic criteria for obesity in Asian populations by WHO, BMI = 25kg/m ² is considered obesity.
