Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age >= 18 years old. The diagnosis was hemorrhagic or ischemic stroke (evaluated by neurology and CT/MRI). Localized shoulder or knee pain lasting at least 1 month after stroke. Previous use of non systemic anti-inflammatory drugs or physical therapy had poor effect.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Essential exclusion criteria included active infection, coagulopathy (INR >1.5), allergy to corticosteroids or local anesthetics, and severe cognitive impairment.The outcome assessment could not be completed reliably. Any other situation that the researcher judges is not suitable for participation.
