Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients over 60 years old who are scheduled for elective non-cardiac major surgeries in the Anhui Medical University First Affiliated Hospital's Anesthesia Department and Surgical Department. 1.Age >= 60 years old, gender not restricted; 2.Scheduled for elective non-cardiac and non-neurosurgical major surgeries; 3. ASA classification: grade II-IV; 4. Normal preoperative cognitive function; 5. Expected survival period >= 6 months; 6. Voluntary participation in this study, and able to cooperate with preoperative examinations, perioperative sample collection and postoperative follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Delirium or cognitive dysfunction existed before the operation; 2. History of mental illness or long-term use of psychotropic drugs; 3. Emergency surgery, trauma surgery or cerebrovascular accident occurred within 3 months; 4. Coagulation dysfunction, puncture site infection or systemic infection; 5. Severe impairment of heart, liver or kidney functions; 6. Unable to cooperate in data collection or follow-up.
