Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age at onset >= 18 years or <= 80 years; 2. Patients diagnosed with sepsis according to the 3.0 standard of sepsis; 3. Patients who underwent echocardiography within 48 hours of admission; 4. Patients with complete medical records and follow-up data; 5. Patients with a hospital stay of more than 24 hours.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous history of underlying heart diseases such as dilated cardiomyopathy, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, pericarditis, infectious endocarditis, congenital heart disease, acute coronary syndrome, severe heart failure and chronic pulmonary heart disease, and myocardial damage caused by other reasons (such as external chest compression, electrical defibrillation, chest trauma, cardiac surgery, etc.); 2. The patient's stay in the ICU was <= 24 hours; 3. The patient's clinical data was severely lacking.
