Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Intraoperative identification of complete canalicular obstruction. 2. Diagnosis and subsequent conjunctivodacryocystorhinostomy performed by the same experienced ophthalmologist. 3. No restrictions on age or gender. 4. Willing and able to comply with the study protocol and having provided voluntary written informed consent. 5. A preoperative MUNK score of greater than 2 in the affected eye.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of acute dacryocystitis. 2. Concurrent nasal pathologies, including nasal polyposis, atrophic rhinitis, or granulomatosis with polyangiitis. 3. Presence of eyelid malposition, ocular surface diseases, trichiasis, any systemic condition causing excessive tearing, uncontrolled systemic diseases, or pregnancy. 4. Significant systemic diseases, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, or coagulation disorders. 5. Any other condition deemed by the investigator as a reason for exclusion.
