Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1: Meet the diagnostic criteria for type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) according to the Guideline for the Prevention and Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes in China (2020 edition);. 2: Aged 18 to 75 years; 3: HbA1c and fasting plasma glucose tests completed concurrently during the index hospitalization (blood collection interval =3 days); 4: Have residual peripheral blood samples available for G6PD genetic testing; 5: Have complete clinical data.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1: Type 1 diabetes mellitus, gestational diabetes mellitus, or secondary diabetes 2: Receipt of blood transfusion or erythropoietin therapy within 3 months prior to enrollment 3: Confirmed non-G6PD-related hemolytic anemia, thalassemia, or other serious hematological disorders 4: End-stage renal disease (eGFR <15 mL/min/1.73m^²) or undergoing renal replacement therapy; 5: Concomitant malignancy or severe liver failure (Child-Pugh class C) 6: Missing more than 20% of key variables in medical records
