Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Observation group: 1. Patients who meet the diagnostic criteria for FC, including a clear history of fever, clinical manifestations of convulsive seizures, and exclusion of other diseases that may cause convulsive seizures; 2. Aged 6 years or younger; 3. Experiencing their first episode; 4. With complete clinical data, including detailed medical history, physical examination results, laboratory test results, and imaging findings; 5. With guardians who are aware of the study content and have voluntarily signed the informed consent form. Control group: 1. Aged 6 years and below; 2. Experiencing fever without convulsive seizures; 3. With guardians who are aware of the study content and have voluntarily signed the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous history of growth retardation; 2. Presence of genetic and metabolic diseases; 3. Previous history of epilepsy; 4. Presence of convulsions caused by intracranial infection, electrolyte imbalance, vitamin D deficiency, and other diseases; 5. Poor compliance, unable to cooperate with the study.
