Conditions

Implant rehabilitation is a routine treatment for tooth loss. The mandibular anterior region exhibits unique anatomical characteristics, including high bone density, low proportion of cancellous bone, limited bone volume, labial undercuts, and variations in the mandibular lingual foramen. These features pose significant challenges to implant surgery in this area. Multiple studies have reported tha

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged between 18 and 80 years old. 2. Intact mandibular anterior teeth without obvious torsion, displacement, or crowding. 3. No obvious dental lesions, caries, restorations, or significant alveolar bone resorption. 4. No history of jaw surgery or jaw deformities. 5. Clear CBCT images without artifacts to facilitate measurement.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Lesions such as mandibular developmental deformities, tumors, or cysts. 2. Poor image quality (e.g., motion artifacts, metal artifacts) or low clarity that interferes with measurements. 3. History of previous orthodontic treatment (which may alter the natural morphology of alveolar bone).
