20 Years to 60 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 20–60, any gender; 2. At least 20 natural teeth; 3. Clinically diagnosed with chronic periodontitis (stage I or II, i.e., mild to moderate), according to the 2018 new classification of periodontal diseases: presence of interproximal attachment loss (CAL), and at least 2 non-adjacent teeth with probing depth (PD) =4 mm; 4. Baseline TQHI =2.0; 5. Able to comply with follow-up and sign informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Received periodontal treatment or systemic antibiotics in the past 3 months; 2. Severe systemic diseases, pregnancy, or breastfeeding; 3. Severe periodontitis (Stage III/IV) or acute periodontal abscess. 4. Disability or cognitive impairment preventing completion of brushing instructions; 5. Participation in other clinical trials.
