Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1: Healthy controls: a. the concise international nerve disorder interview meeting Chinese version 5.0.0 structured check, do not conform to the diagnosis of any mental disorders; B. age 19-65 years old; c. Voluntarily participated in the study and signed the informed consent form. 2: Major depressive disorder group: a. according to the Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders 5th edition diagnostic criteria for major depressive disorder; b. Did not meet the diagnostic criteria of other mental disorders on the Chinese version of M.I.N.I. 5.0.0 structured interview; C. at age 19-65 years old; D. Hamilton depression rating scale 17 points or more; E. volunteered for the study and signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Merge serious body disease and organic brain disease; 2. A history of severe trauma, infection, trauma, and surgery in the past 3 months; 3. There are PET, MRI scans of taboo conditions; 4. Long-term consumption (>=5 times per week) of probiotics or beverages or prebiotics in the past 1 month; 5. Use of antibiotics within the past 3 months; 6. Severe diarrhea over the last three months (>=3 times per day, and >=3 days) or severe constipation (<=2 times per week, with difficult defecation); 7. Nearly 2 weeks using any of the psychotropic drugs or health products.
