Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years 2. Admission diagnosis of severe pneumonia 3. ICU stay >= 24 hours 4. Patients who provided informed consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Multiple organ failure (MOF) 2. History of dementia 3. Pre-existing conditions that may affect cognitive function (e.g., psychiatric disorders, chronic intoxication, hypoxic encephalopathy, etc.) 4. Comatose state, Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale (RASS) score < -3, or inability to be assessed 5. Severe hearing or speech impairment hindering effective communication.
