Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Histopathologically confirmed papillary thyroid carcinoma or follicular thyroid carcinoma; 2. Patients of any age or gender; 3. Underwent adjuvant iodine-131 therapy meeting at least one of the following criteria: (1) Primary tumor T4 stage; (2) Presence of soft tissue invasion; (3) Cervical lymph node metastasis =3 cm and/or with extranodal extension; (4) Thyroglobulin (Tg) level >10 ng/ml under TSH-stimulated conditions.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Incomplete resection of the tumor lesion; 2. Known presence of local or distant metastasis; 3. Postoperative TSH-stimulated Tg levels highly suggestive of concurrent distant metastasis; 4. Positive TgAb (thyroglobulin antibody) status; 5. Concurrent receipt of other anti-tumor therapies.
