Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years; 2. Undergoing elective surgery; 3. Receiving general anesthesia; 4. Having complete records of anesthetic induction agents; 5. Having complete records of vital signs during the induction period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing emergency surgery; 2. Patients undergoing cardiac surgery, major vascular surgery, or procedures involving cardiopulmonary bypass; 3. Patients with pre-existing significant hypotension or bradycardia before induction; 4. Patients requiring continuous vasopressors or inotropes to maintain hemodynamic stability before induction; 5. Patients with severe arrhythmias or those with a permanent pacemaker; 6. Patients with significant missing anesthesia records or monitoring data; 7. Patients with special induction procedures, such as awake intubation or absence of a standard intravenous induction process.
