Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with radiographically confirmed, low-trauma hip fractures, including femoral neck, intertrochanteric, and subtrochanteric fractures (unilateral or bilateral). 2. Patients who are diagnosed with osteoporotic hip fracture, meet the criteria for surgical intervention, and undergo the indicated surgical procedure during the index hospitalization.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with hip fractures caused by high-energy trauma, such as motor vehicle accidents or falls from height. 2. Patients with a documented history of psychiatric disorders. 3. Patients with pathological fractures due to underlying conditions such as tumor or metastatic disease. 4. Patients diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. 5. Patients with a history of prior hip arthroplasty or internal fixation surgery on the ipsilateral side. 6. Patients who are unable to complete the preoperative assessments due to objective physical impediments, such as deaf-mutism.
