Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: MDD Group: 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria for depression in the DSM-V. 2. Han Chinese women of childbearing age between 18 and 65 years old; 3. No history of neurological diseases or other somatic diseases that may affect cognitive function; 4. No history of electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) in the past 6 months; 5. Voluntarily participate in this study. HC Group: 1. Did not meet the diagnostic criteria for any mental disorder; 2. Han Chinese women of childbearing age aged between 18 and 65 years; 3. No family history of depression; 4. Voluntarily participated in the present study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of substance abuse; 2. Severe visual or auditory impairment that may interfere with task performance; 3. Significant finger motor dysfunction (inability to click a mouse or type on a keyboard); 4. Severe medical illness (e.g., abnormal coagulation function); 5. Pregnancy or lactation; 6. Failure to provide written informed consent.
