Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age of 18-75 years old, male or female. (2) Colorectal adenocarcinoma was initially diagnosed by preoperative colonoscopy biopsy pathology, and radical surgery (R0 resection) was planned. (3) Case group (CCE?) : patients with a history of cholecystectomy (benign colorectal cancer confirmed by postoperative pathology), and the resection time was at least 1 year before the diagnosis of colorectal cancer. (4) Control group (CCE? group) : no history of cholecystectomy. (5) They voluntarily participated in and signed the specific informed consent for the use of their surgical specimens and related data for this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) patients received any neoadjuvant therapy (including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy) before surgery. (2) use of antibiotics or probiotics within 1 month before surgery; (3) complicated with active intestinal infection, inflammatory bowel disease, complete intestinal obstruction or intestinal perforation. (4) complicated with other active malignant tumors, autoimmune diseases or requiring long-term use of immunosuppressants. (5) emergency surgery patients;
