Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Experimental group (indirect hernia group) inclusion criteria: 1. The age range was 0-14 years old; 2. Diagnosis method: the diagnosis was confirmed by specialized physical examination, and the presence of patent peritoneal sheath process and hernia content prolapse was confirmed by inguinal ultrasound examination. 3. Intervention methods: all patients received elective indirect inguinal hernia repair in our hospital; 4. A standard anteroposterior chest X-ray was taken in our hospital within 1 month before surgery. Control group (normal group) inclusion criteria: 1. Age matched with the experimental group (0-14 years old); 2. Diagnosis: patients were admitted due to superficial benign lesions (such as phimosis, surface cyst, polydactyly, etc.), and indirect inguinal hernia and other serious medical or surgical diseases were excluded by preoperative specialized physical examination and medical history. 3. Intervention methods: receiving corresponding surgery or conservative treatment; 4. The conventional standard anteroposterior chest X-ray was taken during the perioperative period, and the radiology department reported that "there were no obvious abnormalities in the heart and lung".

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Chest X-ray images with severe artifacts, foreign body obstruction, or severe postural distortion due to lack of patient cooperation; 2.Comorbidities that significantly alter chest anatomy, such as severe congenital heart disease, severe scoliosis, or thoracic deformities (e.g., severe pectus excavatum); 3.A history of previous thoracic or upper abdominal surgery; 4.Coexisting acute-phase pulmonary lesions that obscure background imaging textures, such as acute severe pneumonia or massive pleural effusion.
