Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria for patients with oral leukoplakia and oral squamous cell carcinoma are as follows:; 1. Age 18 years or older; gender; 2. Clinically diagnosed with oral leukoplakia or oral squamous cell carcinoma, with a lesion area of >1 cm²; 3. Clinically determined to require a pathological biopsy or surgical treatment; 4. Oral lesions have not been treated with photodynamic therapy, laser therapy, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, medication, or surgery. Inclusion criteria for patients with benign oral and maxillofacial cysts are as follows:; 1. Age 18 years or older; gender; 2. Clinically diagnosed with a benign oral and maxillofacial cyst, with a lesion area > 1 cm²; 3. Clinically determined to require cystectomy; 4. The oral lesion has not been treated with laser therapy, medication, surgery, or other therapies.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria for patients with benign oral and maxillofacial cysts, oral leukoplakia, and oral squamous cell carcinoma are as follows: 1. Patients with a known diagnosis of adult mitochondrial myopathy or encephalomyopathy; 2. Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 3. Patients with severe systemic diseases of the heart, liver, lungs, kidneys, or blood system that are poorly controlled; 4. Patients with tumors in other systems, or those who have undergone radiation or chemotherapy; 5. Patients with psychiatric disorders, lack of behavioral control, or intellectual disabilities.
