Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Undergoing cardiac orthopedic surgery; 2. Having no other known diseases; 3. For patients undergoing total thymectomy or partial thymectomy during the operation, the resection ratio of patients with partial thymectomy is calculated based on preoperative and postoperative chest CT imaging data. 4. Included age groups: young people (12-30 years old), middle-aged and elderly people (30-60 years old), and elderly people (over 60 years old). In each age group, 3 patients with total thymectomy and 3 patients with partial thymectomy are included (with consistent gender).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Smokers, those with a history of cancer, those with chronic inflammatory diseases (arthritis, Crohn's disease, colitis, dermatitis, fibromyalgia, and lupus), HIV infection, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and autoimmune diseases, among others.
