Conditions

hypertriglyceridemic acute pancreatitis

Interventions

Gold Standard:The etiology is determined to be hypertriglyceridemic if other predominant etiologies are excluded and the patient presents with either serum triglycerides (TG) >=11.3 mmol/Lat admission
Index test:Early Prediction Model for Severe Hypertriglyceridemic Acute Pancreatitis

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Clear diagnosis of acute pancreatitis; 2. Age: >=18 years; 3. No gender restriction; 4. Confirmed diagnosis of acute pancreatitis (AP): meeting any 2 of the revised Atlanta criteria: (1) Typical upper abdominal pain; (2) Serum amylase or lipase >= 3 times the upper limit of normal; (3) Imaging consistent with acute pancreatitis. 5. Etiology determined as hypertriglyceridemic (HTG-AP): meets one of the following and excludes other primary causes: (1) Serum triglycerides (TG) >=11.3 mmol/L (>=1000 mg/dL) at admission or early in the disease; (2) 5.65–11.29 mmol/L (500–999 mg/dL) with presence of chylous serum, and clinical exclusion of biliary/alcoholic or other primary causes, comprehensively judged that HTG is the main pathogenic factor. 6. Complete clinical data, including: collection of predictors can be completed within T0 = 0–24 hours after admission (vital signs, routine laboratory tests: blood routine, liver and kidney function, inflammatory markers, lipid profile, imaging examinations, etc.). 7. Complete medical records.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Organ failure attributed to severe comorbidities; 2.Pregnancy or lactation; 3.Recurrent pancreatitis; 4.Incomplete or missing clinical data;
