Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria for Constipation Cohort 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria for functional constipation as specified above 2. No restriction on disease duration 3. Age between 18-70 years (any gender) 4. Provision of signed informed consent Inclusion Criteria for Non-disease Control Group 1. Age between 18-70 years, with gender and age matched to the constipation patient group 2. No self-reported constipation-related symptoms or history 3. Patients undergoing colonic resection due to intestinal perforation, acute abdomen, or trauma
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals who do not meet the diagnostic and inclusion criteria outlined above. 2. Patients with severe comorbid primary diseases in major organ systems (e.g., cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, hepatic, renal, or hematopoietic systems), or those with diagnosed psychiatric disorders. 3. Patients with poorly controlled diabetes mellitus. 4. Participants currently enrolled in other clinical drug trials. (4)Subjects who are currently participating in other clinical drug trials.
