Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years. 2. Diagnosis of plaque psoriasis according to the International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision (ICD-10) code L40.0. 3. Initiation of biologic tapering by the treating physician, defined as an extension of the dosing interval (e.g., from every 4 weeks to every 6 weeks or longer), following at least 6 months of continuous treatment with any biologic agent (e.g., TNF-a inhibitors, IL-17 inhibitors, IL-23 inhibitors) and upon achieving stable disease, defined as a Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) score <=5 or a Physician's Global Assessment (PGA) score of 0 (clear) or 1 (almost clear). 4. Availability of at least one follow-up record documenting disease activity after the initiation of dose tapering.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Incomplete or insufficient medical records,? specifically lacking key baseline metabolic indices or follow-up data after dose tapering. 2. Concomitant use of other systemic medications? that may interfere with psoriasis activity or metabolic status (e.g., methotrexate, cyclosporine, systemic glucocorticoids) during the tapering period. 3. Presence of other severe chronic diseases or malignancy with a life expectancy of less than 1 year.
Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Relapse rate after biologic dose reduction (defined as PASI score rebounding to >5 or increasing by >=5 points from the lowest value before dose reduction); | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Time to maintain disease stability (PASI <= 5) after dose reduction (relapse-free survival period);Correlation between individual metabolic syndrome parameters (e.g., BMI, FPG, TG) and relapse risk; | — |
