Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years old, with clear consciousness and the ability to communicate normally, possessing basic comprehension and execution capabilities; 2. This is the first time for PICC catheter insertion, and the expected catheter retention time is >= 2 weeks; 3. Voluntarily participate in this study, sign the informed consent form, and be willing to cooperate in the collection of all data and follow-up work; 4. No severe mental illness, cognitive impairment (such as Alzheimer's disease) or communication disorder (such as aphasia).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe dysfunction of organs such as the heart, liver, and kidneys, or terminal malignant tumors (expected survival period < 3 months); 2. Within 24 hours after catheter insertion, situations such as catheter displacement or severe bleeding at the puncture site that require immediate catheter removal; 3. During the study period, patients were transferred to another department, died, or refused to continue participating in follow-up.
