Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Inclusion criteria for hospitalized patients: (1) Age >= 18 years; (2) Patients meeting the diagnostic criteria of the 2024 KIDGO clinical guidelines (estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) = 30 mg/g or having other renal injury markers persisting for more than 3 months), diagnosed with chronic kidney disease; (3) Complete clinical data and signed informed consent. 2. Inclusion criteria for healthy controls: (1) Age 18 - 75 years, gender not limited; (2) Estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) >= 90 mL/min/1.73m^2; (3) Normal urine routine test (no proteinuria, hematuria); (4) No history of chronic diseases that may affect kidney function (such as hypertension, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, etc.); (5) No obvious structural abnormalities in the kidneys (such as kidney cysts, stones, hydronephrosis, etc.) detected by ultrasound; (6) Voluntary participation in this study and signed informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclusion criteria for hospitalized patients: (1) Acute kidney injury patients: To avoid interference of acute fluctuations in renal function on ultrasound parameters; (2) Patients with abnormal kidney structure (such as polycystic kidney, solitary kidney, renal dysplasia or transplanted kidney), as they themselves significantly affect ultrasound parameters; (3) Patients with severe renal vascular diseases (such as renal artery stenosis >= 50%), as they directly change renal hemodynamics; (4) Patients with a large amount of ascites or severe obesity (BMI > 35 kg/m^2): These factors significantly affect the quality of ultrasound images and the accuracy of parameter measurement; (5) Pregnant or lactating women; (6) Patients with severe heart, liver, or lung dysfunction or malignant tumors that seriously affect survival; (7) Patients who cannot cooperate to complete ultrasound examination (such as inability to hold breath due to breathing difficulties); (8) Patients with incomplete clinical data. 2. Exclusion criteria for healthy controls: (1) Any acute disease that may affect renal function or hemodynamics (such as infection, dehydration, heart failure, etc.); (2) History of kidney diseases (including acute kidney injury, chronic nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, etc.); (3) Pregnant or lactating women; (4) Severe obesity (BMI > 35 kg/m^2) or patients with a large amount of ascites that affects the quality of ultrasound images; (5) Recent (within 3 months) use of nephrotoxic drugs (such as aminoglycoside antibiotics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, etc.).
