Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets the diagnostic criteria for diabetic retinopathy in both traditional Chinese and Western medicine; 2. Age >= 18 years old and able to communicate fluently in language; 3. Confirmed or suspected to be of the qi deficiency constitution (single qi deficiency constitution, qi deficiency combined with phlegm-dampness constitution, qi deficiency combined with yin deficiency constitution, qi deficiency combined with blood stasis constitution) through the initial screening of "Traditional Chinese Constitution Classification and Determination" and the re-screening by the doctor of the traditional Chinese medicine department; 4. Patients with non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy; 5. Clear consciousness, willing to cooperate and signing the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclude patients with type I diabetes; 2. Exclude patients with other severe ocular diseases such as glaucoma and cataracts; 3. Exclude patients with severe heart, liver, kidney diseases, malignant tumors, or mental disorders; 4. Exclude patients who need to interrupt this research due to sudden serious complications or urgent surgery (laser treatment, therapy, vitrectomy) during the intervention period; 5. Exclude patients who are allergic to the recommended foods in this study.
